For those of you who don’t know, besides from make up, i also loooove cooking and feeding people
About a few days ago i was given the task of making a dinner for the family, and so i came up with a few dishes that were healthy AND easy to handle.
first up, i got the Japanese Salad:
romaine lettuce, japanese cucumbers, tomatoes, hint of parsley and some seaweed
I used a Japanese sesame dressing, that’s almost kinda like soya sauce but not as salty and more zesty, (for those who like creamier dressings, i would suggest a Yuzu cream dressing)
Roasted Asparagus was next:
fresh thailand asparagus, mixed herbs, salt and olive oil!
because a guest of mine was allergic to black pepper, I had to opt for more mixed herbs to bring out more flavor
put them in the oven for around 12-15 minutes at 230 degrees C
Honey-Ketchup glazed Chicken wings:
for the marinade sauce I used soy sauce, ketchup, honey, and brown sugar.
together, whisk all these ingredients over a pan until it simmers, set aside to cool and pour it over the chicken wings.
Marinade for around 4 hours
and then pop it in the oven at 250 degrees C for 20 minutes, flipping them over at 10 minutes
I also made miso fish that night, but I reckon I used the wrong type of fish..so it kinda failed, but the family enjoyed it nonetheless..
and then my brother brought back two other dishes to satisfy those with carnivorous appetites : )
